Obituary

Willie Donnell Johnson (affectionately known as Big Will) was born in Rochester New York on January 16, 1970.  He was the eldest child of Willie and Elouise Johnson. Donnell has a sister Arania whom he loved dearly. Donnell would always make sure she was protected and never needed or wanted for anything. Donnell relocated to Miami, Florida with his parents. During his relocation, he attended Miami Carol City Senior High. Donnell loved playing football and became a part of a team called the "WIPEOUT BOYS."  He would later get a scholarship to Mississippi Delta College where he graduated with a degree in business.

Donnell began a career with Weekly Asphalt and later migrated to the Broward County School Board for more than 20 years first, as a Bus Driver and later as a Dispatch Operator. Donnell was a loving son and would religiously always call his parents to inquire if they needed anything before, he came home.

While he did not have any biological children, he treated his nieces and nephews as if they were his very own. Leyla Richardson was his Goddaughter and he made sure she lacked nothing. He never missed a birthday or slacked in giving Christmas gifts.

He leaves to carry on his legacy his parents Willie and Elouise Johnson, sister Arania Johnson, niece Kelli (Tyrell) Ambrose, nephews Dennis and Kelvin Allen, great nieces Noa and Arys Ambrose, Rylie and Milanie Allen, great nephew Tyrell Ambrose. Special friend Taneaka Simmons, aunts: Vallerie Austin, Clarissa Bembry, Carolyn Herring, Susie McDonald; uncles Edward and Bradford Johnson, Larry and Harold Fair, Close friend Jeffrey Townsend, a host of Cousins, friends and coworkers whom he considered as family. Donnell left this earth but never the hearts of those he touched. A Golden Heart stopped beating hard working hands have rest. God only take the best.
