His Life Story

Our Father Willie Albert Chester was born on January 17, 1938 to the late Willie J. Chester and Mary Bailey of Blakely, Georgia.

He was the third of seven siblings Willie J.  Chester Jr., Eugene Chester, Emmitt Chester, Robert Chester (all preceded him in death) and James Chester and Mary Chester Pickett.

He met and married the love of his life the late Virginia Chester. To this union they were blessed with 5 children: Welton, Lee, Brenda, Nathaniel and Mary.

Willie was a quiet guy, devoted to family, and a hard worker. He was a former truck driver at Waste Management for over 42 years.

He leaves to cherish his memories daughters, Brenda Walker (Douglas) and Mary Sweeting (Abdulah); His sons, Welton Chester (Teresa), Lee Chester, and Nathaniel Chester. His siblings, James Chester (Barbara) of Cocoa, FL and Mary Pickett (Reginald) of VA. Nine grandchildren and host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family, friends and a community who loved him dearly.
