Virginia Rosa Lee James was born on August 8,1946 in Waynesboro, Ga. She was born from the union of the late Charles Lewis and Nancy Gresham Lewis.
Virginia was educated in Miami Dade County, Florida Public School System. She graduated from Booker T. Washington High School, where she obtained her high school diploma. Virginia continued her education in Nursing. She worked as a Nurse for several years until she left to care for her mother and took the responsibility of raising her niece and nephews.
She dedicated her life to the Lord. She loved the Lord, her church and prayer partners. She joined The Church of the Lord Jesus Christ Full Deliverance Pentecostal Church, under the leadership of the Late Prophetess/Pastor Martha Gore. She served loyally as the Church Mother. Mother James loved God's word and believed in the power of Prayer. She remained steadfast to her calling and accepted the call as an Evangelist. She served the Lord until she was called home to rest. Mother James touched so many people and left an everlasting memory of everyone she touched.
Mother James leaves to cherish her memory, her only son, Darryl Lee Williams; 1 sister that proceeded her in death, Donna Lewis Cody; 5 living sisters: Michelle Redding, Tangy Brandon, Tiny Mae Brandon, Sebryna Pinkie Harris and Tanya Brandon; 1 aunt Mammie Hall; 2 great grandchildren, Kenatrous Willis Jr. and Kaniyah T. Willis; niece Geneva Johnson; 2 nephews Sheddy Johnson and Jonathan Johnson whom she raised as her own; 2 grandsons, Desmond Willis and Kenatrous Willis; great nieces Felicia and Asecret Perriman, Kieonia and Aaiyah Johnson; greatnephews, Joshua, Dijon, Ozrion Johnson; and great-great niece Lyric Nykeria Perriman.
