Obituary

Thomas Jacob Williams passed away peacefully on March 8, 2022 at the age of 55. He was born on March 11, 1966 in Miami, FL to his beloved parents, Annie Williams and Thomas J. Warren. He later married his middle school crush, Paula Williams, who became his soulmate on his birthday in 1988.

Despite many obstacles in life, he managed to graduate and earn his high school diploma from Northwestern Senior High School. He later attended the University of   Missouri with a scholarship in football. He played defense in line and football was his life. Of course, his favorite  team was the Miami Dolphins.

Unfortunately, he didn't live out his dreams as a football player, but he did the next best thing he could. Something he got introduced to as a young boy was greyhound racing and he made it his career. He fell in love with the dog business. That became his passion, his second home. He didn't just shine on the football field, he shined even brighter as a dog trainer winning many championships.

Anyone who he encountered with can tell you he had the biggest heart. They called him The Gentle Giant. He was a big teddy bear. He didn't have any hate in his heart for   nobody and he was loved by many.

Even though Tommy has gained his wings he left behind many who loved, respected, and looked up to him and will continue to carry his memories: His wife, Paula Williams; his five children: Tyus Hall and wife Jessica Hall, Tomeshia Williams, Thomas Williams Jr, James Williams, and Princess Lampley; his grandchildren: Tyus, Gabrielle, Keithen,  Kayden, and Faith; his beloved mother Annie Williams; his sisters: Lisa, Pamela and her husband Richard, and Brenda; his brothers: Draesten, Leonard, Aurbrey, Anthony, George, and Michael and a host of nieces, and nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles, and many friends who truly loved him.

May you rest in paradise, Big T, we love you.
