Obituary

Shirley Elaine Rambo was born on December 29,1938 to the late Rosbie and Geneva Rambo.   To this union three children were born Shirley,   brother Michael that proceeded her in death and a sister Brenda Rambo-Hudson.

Shirley graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in June 1956. She earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree from St. Thomas University in 1985. She was employed at Miami-Dade College as a Student Advisor for many years. She was affectionately admired by her staff, coworkers and students that she taught and mentored until her retirement in 1994.

At an early age Shirley Joined Mt. Hermon A.M.E Church and was baptized by the late Rev. S.L Gay where she remained a member. She loved the Lord and would attend Wednesday night bible study & Sunday service until her health declined. Also, she had a deep passion for fashion, shopping & being well dressed from "head to toe." Anyone that came in contact with her couldn't help but to love her.

Shirley Leaves to mourn her passing, Daughter, Lynda Patrice Gary; Sister Brenda Antoinette Rambo-Hudson (Robert Hudson); Grandson Rashad D. Griffin; Great Grandson Messiah M. Griffin; Nephews Jervaris L. Johnson and Robert L. Hudson; Niece Bianca A. Hudson; Grand Niece Sky Johnson; Grand Nephew Robert L. Hudson Jr.; Goddaughter Wanda R. Portier; Godson Traivon Greene-Trice; Honarable Mention Mary Ann Dallas, Lavonte Gary, Carita Cooper, Leslie Trice, Toika Trice, and a host of sorrowing family members and friends.
