Wednesday, March 2 nd , just after Sunrise, Shirley heard
God whisper…"Come on home…You fought a good fight
… now rest your kind and generous Heart."
Shirley Ann Lee, born October 25, 1950 in Miami, Florida, was the third blessing of six for George W. Lee, Jr., and Clara M. Lee. Her father preceded her in death.
After graduating from Miami Northwestern High School in 1968, she continued her studies at Miami-Dade College-North, later pursuing banking and retiring after 35 years.
She was best known for her loyalty and affection towards family and friends. Her faith in God deeply steadfast from Antioch Baptist Church in Brownsville.
Shirley leaves a tremendous void in the lives of her loving Mother, Clara M. Lee; Big Brother, Robert; devoted sisters: Ambrozene, Alicia Lee-Cook, heavenly angels Gloria Ray and Vanessa; nieces: Theresa, LaBranda, Shannon, Christine and heavenly angel Catherine Ray; nephews: Robert Lee, Jr., Oscar Ray Jr., Derrick and Nicholas Scott; two aunts: Loretha Singleton and Nell Griffin; her great nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a host of many sorrowing neighbors and friends. And from Tiny and Toshi R.I.P.
