Sean
Lowe
Jun 9, 1969 — Jun 14, 2022
West Palm Beach
Sean L. Lowe was born in Freeport, Grand Bahama on June 9,1969 to Keith and Norma Lowe.
He left the Bahamas at the age of 3, for New York, where his father was studying Electronics.
At the completion of the course his parents moved back to Jamaica with him, where he went to Preparatory and Elementary school. He spent most of his spare time by the sea, fishing or swimming and crabbing with the Chin family.
At about 12 years old he migrated to New Jersey to join his father Keith and stepmother Jacqueline, then to South Florida. He graduated from Miramar High School in 1987 and immediately joined the US Army.
He completed basic training then went to the US Army base in Ft. Sill. While there he became ill, and subsequently received a medical discharge from the Army.
He then joined his mother Norma in Aruba in the Dutch Caribbean and became interested in Scuba Diving. He trained as a Scuba Diver instructor in Bonaire and Ft. Lauderdale, then worked as an Instructor in Jamaica and the Bahamas.
He subsequently returned to Florida to attend College at BCC and then also trained as a Security Officer and a computer repair technician. He worked in the fast-food industry for a few years, then decided to formalize his education by becoming a professional chef and graduated from Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Institute.
He lived in Orlando for many years where he worked with Disney in the food industry, and then with a security company. He moved to Palm Beach about a year ago to work in a restaurant in a Marina, which seemed ideal, combining his love for food and the ocean. Shortly after that he became ill and subsequently passed away on June 14, 2022 in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida USA.
He will be sadly missed by his parents and stepparents, siblings, children, aunts, uncles, many cousins and a host of friends whom he met while living in Jamaica, Orlando and South Florida.
