Sandra F. Baldwin's Obituary – A brief Story

A Time To Be Born

Ms. Sandra Fay Baldwin, born July 4, 1955, to Rose Sales-Stewart and Zack Stewart in Miami, Florida.

Sandra (Sandy) was the middle/second of their three children. A graduate of Miami Northwestern in 1973. She was active in music, cheerleading and cosmetology.  Sandra accepted the Lord at an early age and spent many years as a member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church.

A Time To Love

Sandra met the love of her life Jesse Baldwin, Jr. in 1970 and after four years of courtship married in 1974. This union joined by God remained intact for 44 years until the passing of her beloved in 2018. This union brought forth one son, the light of their lives, Jesse Baldwin, III.

A Time To Serve

Sandra was both a license cosmetologist and barber working at the family business for most of her professional career. After retiring from her profession, she worked in the field of customer services for 10 years, utilizing her gift of a melodious voice.

In 1980, she and Jesse joined the Antioch Baptist Church; attending until health issues prevented her from in-person serving. Her faith never wavered through many health struggles; she was a blessed recipient of an organ donation. She reached out to meet the family and personally expressed her appreciation for the assisting gift of life their loved one provided through their willingness to be an organ donor.

A Time To Let Go And Let God

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents and older sibling, Marion Lilly. On December 29 th the Lord thought it wise to call His servant home for her reward.  Sandra leaves her loving son, Jesse III; her brother, Zack Stewart II (Alva); 6 nieces: Tongela Devo, Marion Yvonne Roberson, LaSandra Palmer, Rose Lilly, Christi Lilly and Tamarah M. Stewart; 2 nephews, Corey A. Stewart and Zack Stewart, III and a host of dear relatives, godchildren and friends to carry on our race to that beautiful reward prepared for us by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We pay tribute to her today and forevermore by reminiscing of the wonderful memories that her presence provided. We pay tribute to her today and forevermore by helping others less fortunate and sharing a kind word of encouragement, and we pay tribute to her today and forevermore by serving the God of the most High.
