Mr. Robert Earl Watts was born on July 17, 1956 to the parentage of the late Mr. Columbus Watts and Mrs. Beulah Watts in Panama City, FL. He was reared in Brooklyn, NY and was educated in the public schools of New York. He was a high school graduate of I.S. 55 in Brooklyn, NY. At the age of 16, Robert and his family migrated to Miami, FL where he resided for fifty years.

Robert worked in the construction field for many years. He was very talented with his hands. His hobbies were bike riding, skating, playing handball, and watching old country western movies. Robert loved spending time with his family.

On Monday, January 2, 2023, he transitioned from labor to reward. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Henry and Mary Williams; brother, Harry Watts; aunts: Lula Monroe, Rebecca McMillan, Katie Mae Brantley, Lilla Williams, and Rose Williams; uncles: Kaleb C. Williams and Tellice L. Williams; nephew: Toshawba Pate.

He leaves to mourn: 2 sisters: Linda Watts and Carolyn Pate both of Tampa, FL; 1 brother: Curtís (Gloria) Pate of Tampa, FL; 6 nieces: Jeneen Watts of Goose Creek, SC; Peaches Watts and Antrilise Cobb both of Miami, FL; Toshanda (Maurice) Moore, Vanessa (Chevis) Johnson, Zatavia Porter all of Columbus, GA; 6 nephews: Anthony (Alisha) Watts and Terrence Watts both of Goose Creek, SC; Maurice Cobb of Hartford, CT; Kevin (Amelia) Pate of Denver, CO, Curtis (April) Pate Jr of Glendale, AZ, and Horace Lundy of Nashville, TN; 3 aunts: Martha L. Williams, Lueannie (Leroy) Atkins, and Mattie L. Williams all of Tampa, FL; 1 uncle: Shadrick (Virginia) Williams of Tampa, FL; and a host of sorrowing cousins, other relatives, and friends.
