Phillip Dickson was the youngest of two boys born to Nancy and Clarence Dickson Sr. in Miami, Florida on February 16, 1962. Phillip was raised in Miami-Dade County where he attended American Senior High School.

He was known for his contagious smile, his love for music, playing the guitar and performing martial arts.

He was predeceased by his brother, Clarence Dickson Jr.

He leaves behind his mother and best friend, Nancy Dickson; father, Clarence Dickson Sr.; son, Phillip Dickson Jr.; sisters: Traci Aveni and Raquel King; aunts: Eloise Harris and Winifred Dickson Lang; uncles: Charles Harris, James Blue, and Calvin Wilson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and good friends (Freda Smith), (Allen Boone) and (Tiana Richardson).
