Prudence Menelas Losse was granted her angel wings on August 2, 2021. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that she had touched in some small way throughout her very memorable life. Those who were touched by her understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which on lives. Her gentle smile brought so much joy to all. She gave us all such courage and hope and reminded us of the preciousness of life.

Ms. Prudence's love of life did not come to an end with her passing. She passed away at the age of 68 years, after a courageous battle with medical illnesses, surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest. Her battle with serious medical issues in recent years showed her courage in facing life challenges with a smile. Despite everything, Ms. Prudence came out a heroine and stayed strong; a queen until she left to claim her place at the throne.

Our beloved Prudence was born in the town of Port-Margot, Cap-Haiti, Haiti on March 9, 1953, to father Menelus Menelas and Mother Familia Gelin. A second daughter, younger sister to Marguerite. She grew up to be married, and gave birth to her first born, a son (Ti Manno), who passed away at the young age of two.

Shortly following her adversaries, Ms. Prudence immigrated to the US in her twenties. She didn't speak English and was closely acquainted with very few. Her bravery served her well through her life journey. A journey in which the Lord led her to a Christian life in 1982, following her baptism as a Seventh Day Adventist and joined Sion SDA church. Her blessings continued on with the added births of her five boys, now men who are celebrating their cherished memories of her together.

The love of Christ inspired her to become a Deaconess within the Church. A position which allowed her to pour her heart into volunteer servitude for most of the church's extraordinary events, exposing her to zesty social ambiance.

It's clear to see that Ms. Prudence has accomplished a great deal, including going back to school at North Miami Senior High School at night to obtain her H.S. diploma. This was a meaningful desire of hers. Unlike many, she happily lived out her bucket list for her joy of traveling. She's taken multiple trips well within the states, and several Caribbean Cruises exploring different parts of the Caribbean nations. Her zest to travel combined with her love of Christ have taken her to other parts of the world, including most of Europe, Egypt, and most cherishing Jerusalem. This made her heart sing.

Ms. Prudence was a phenomenal woman who possessed many special qualities, like preparing an entire meal by gathering rocks and twigs to start a fire to cook her full course meal and all. She portrayed every essence of compassion, of duty, of style, of beauty. A selfless breed of humanity, a heart filled with generosity. She was readily available to help everyone. Whatever she possessed also belonged to the next one in need. Like her deceased mother, her door was open to all in need. No one associated with our beloved Prudence was ever hungry, if she doesn't have the time to cook it she will buy it and personally make the delivery to you along with whatever else you may need, with kindness and a smile. She simply chose to see only the good in everyone no matter what.

Those who knew her would all agree that she in many ways has brightened their lives. It's difficult not to fell cheated that she's left our world, yet we must learn to be grateful that we can claim to have loved her in flesh and now will cherish her bittersweet memories.

Always, she dressed the best, and looking her utmost best despite anything in every situation. As a sister, mother, aunt, cousin, friend, sister-in-Christ she meant a great deal to all whom she encountered. Her genuineness glowed as does a halo whenever in her presence. No one was left homeless and/or an orphan with our noble Prudence. Thank you, Father, for reclaiming our beloved Prudence peacefully with the presence of her only sister and family at her side. She suffers no more. Do not mourn her, live and baste in her loving memories.

She is survived by: Five sons: Kervans Losse, Bruce Lee Lossee, James Kelly Lossee, Evans Lossee, Stevre Lossee. Her sister: Marguerite Menelas Seide. Ten Grandkids: Gatsby Losse, Keon Losse, Bayne Losse, Giselle Losse, Kiahri Losse, Brooklyn Losse, London Losse, Kimari Young, Amelia Losse, Avante Losse. Nephews: Guildro Side, Guitch Mitch Seide, Guyvens Seide, Siguimps Gelin, Siguy Gelin. Nieces: Guildrine Seide, Guilda Seide Desravins, Siguelle Gelin, Regina Cadet, Francenise Bien-Aime, Wilna Bien-Aime, Evelyn Belizaire.
