Mavis Diane King, 66, of Miami, Florida passed away on February 14, 2023 surrounded by loved ones.

Diane was born on October 5th, 1956 to Mavis Lango and Benton Williams of Naples, FL. She relocated to Miami at an early age and was raised by Ernest Jackson and Connie Green in North Miami Beach. After graduating from Naples Senior High School in 1974, she worked in the health care field, early childhood education and retail for over 40 years. Diane was a God-fearing woman and a member of New Birth Baptist Church. She was passionate about purchasing a house and was able to accomplish this in January of 2000. She enjoyed relaxing on the beach, watching HGTV and going to the Dade County Fair.

Diane had four children, Chason Williams, Garrett Williams, Carlos Williams, and Christopher Parker.

Diane was predeceased by her son Garrett Williams and sister Lacolia Layton. Diane is survived by her brother Benton Williams, sister Carloyn Roberts, and nieces Carlene James, Julia Roberts and Amber Williams Troutman. Her grandchildren include Alonzo Williams, Carlos Williams II, and Christopher Parker Jr.
