On Thursday, 4 June 2026, Ulysses Davis, Jr., Miami Gardens, Florida departed this life peacefully. Ulysses was born on Thursday 20 May 1948 in Moultrie, Georgia. He was the first of four sons born to Annie Mae Cobb Davis and Ulysses Davis, Sr. While Ulysses was at an early age, the Davis family moved to Seminola, Hialeah, Florida.
Ulysses received his elementary and secondary education in the Miami-Dade County Public School System. He graduated from Miami Northwestern High School. He retired after a 30-year career with Bell South.
Ulysses enjoyed traveling, fishing, and was a longtime member of a bowling league. He coached at Risco Park in Miami Gardens and he took pictures at any and every event.
Ulysses was predeceased by his parents Annie Mae and Ulysses, Sr., and two brothers Floyd Davis, Sr. and Jimmie Lee Davis, Sr.
He leaves to honor his legacy: his loving companion, Angelia Gibbs; his sons, Ulysses Davis, III (Latoya) of Miami, FL and Eric Walls (Lakesha) of Waynesboro, GA; a son, Charles White (Dular) of Miami, FL; a brother, Willie Charles Davis (Tammy) of Panama City; a sister, Christine Mathis (Billie) of Lithonia, GA; a sister-in-law: Ruby Davis, and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
