Moveta Veronica Pinto passed away on September 23, 2021, at Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, Florida. She was 74 years old.

Moveta was born November 12, 1946, to Carmen Earle (deceased) and James Pinto (deceased), in Kingston Jamaica, W.I. She migrated to the United Sates in 1991 and settled in Hollywood, Florida. Moveta's career of choice involved taking care of those who were no longer able to take care of themselves. It was not just a job, but she became a part of their lives caring for each as if they were members of her family. When not working, Moveta was an active member of the church she loved, Christ Way Baptist, and spending time with her family.

Moveta leaves behind a legacy of three (3) children, Devon McDonald (Jacqueline), Sharon McDonald, and Richard Beaumont; four (4) grandchildren; Sydney, Stephen, Novar, and Rehanna; four (4) brothers, five (5) sisters, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. In addition to her family, she leaves behind a community of friends who loved and respected her.

Those of us who were blessed to be touched by Moveta understand that her existence and the imprint she left on our hearts exceed the quantity of time that she stayed here. Moveta will be greatly missed.
