A Beautiful Beginning: CHRISHERL "COOKIE" HEATH was born on November 2, 1954, in Miami, Florida, to her loving parents, John and Christine Johnson. She was the second child born from their blessed union, a beloved daughter who would go on to touch many lives with her boundless ambition, creativity, and unwavering faith.

Academic Journey: Cookie's educational path began at Orchard Villa Elementary and continued through Charles R. Drew Middle and Miami Northwestern High School. She was an active member of the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) in high school, an involvement that even took her on a journey to Africa. Her academic pursuits culminated at Miami Dade College and Florida International University (FIU), where she earned a bachelor's degree in Accounting.

A Love Story: Cookie's love story with Henry Heath began in a moment divinely orchestrated at Saint Mary. Her father, John Johnson, introduced them and requested Henry to pray for Cookie's salvation. As Henry worked alongside John at Johnson Toddler University as a carpentry worker, God revealed to him that Cookie was to be his wife. Cookie received her own confirmation through prayer at church, and their paths united in holy matrimony on July 28, 1984.

Entrepreneurial Pursuits: Cookie's entrepreneurial spirit led her to various business ventures that left a lasting impact on her community. She co-owned and operated Johnson Toddler University, nurturing young minds with love and care. She also co-founded Alpha Omega 7 Christian Entertainment, a Christian club, and AOS Children's Theater, fostering creativity and faith among children. Renowned for her exquisite taste and creativity, Cookie was a celebrated hat designer, founding Zoe Hats, a company known for its unique and elegant designs.

Devotion To Faith: Cookie's dedication to her faith was unwavering. As an ordained minister, she spread the love and teachings of Jesus Christ with zeal and compassion. Her life was a testament to her ambition, as she balanced her roles as a businesswoman, educator, designer, and minister, always striving to serve God and her community.

Cherished Family Bonds: Cookie's love for her family was evident in every aspect of her life. She was a devoted wife to Henry, a cherished daughter to John and Christine Johnson, and a supportive sister who offered wisdom and advice to her siblings. She was a fun and adventurous aunt to her nieces and nephews, whom she loved like her own. Additionally, she was a supportive Godmother and a friend who was more like family.

Celebrating a Legacy: On Wednesday, July 24, 2024, God, in His infinite wisdom, called Cookie home, granting her rest from her labor. She was preceded in death by her father, John Johnson Sr., her older brother, John Johnson Jr., and her brother-in-law, John Fletcher. Cookie leaves behind her beloved husband, Henry Heath, her mother, Christine Johnson, and her sisters Alva Collier (James), Terri Fletcher, and Shervonda Johnson. She also leaves to cherish her memory her daughter from God, Alaire Johnson (Reggie), and uncle Bishop Alvin Palmer (Margaret). Additionally, she leaves a host of nieces, nephews, godchildren, and friends who will continue to honor her memory and live by the values she exemplified. Cookie's legacy is one of unwavering faith, entrepreneurial spirit, and boundless love.
