Mary Bell Lester Hall, born July 26, 1938, to the late Emma Andrews and Issac Lester. She was the 5th of 8 children born to this union. The siblings preceding her in death are Clearance Lester, Robert Lester, Emma Jenkins, Ollie Bishop, and Daniel Lester along with 2 surviving brothers; Eddie Lester and James Lester.

She married her teenage sweetheart; the late Charlie James Hall Sr. whom are natives of Fitzgerald, Georgia later married in Miami, Florida in 1955. God blessed this union with 5 loving children.

In 1990 she joined Fayetteville Seventh Day Adventist Church under the leadership of Pastor Vanburen followed by Pastor Huskins. She loved the Lord and showed it by working as a deaconess with prison ministries and visiting the sick and elderly in nursing homes. She worked with Sears Holding Corporation as a retail manager for many years until retirement at age 72.

She leaves to celebrate her life 4 children; Deloris Mary Dukes, Rosemary Wood, Kathy Jean McGlothan, and Charlie James Hall Jr. Proceeding her in death is her oldest son, Arnold Hall.

Surviving grandchildren are Kandy Hall, LaToya McCreary, Chandra Garner, Alexandria Hall, Kwuamae Keaton, JR Wood, and Raeshelle Delvalle. Surviving great-grandchildren are Micaiah Hall, Josiah Hall and 12 others along with a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
