Martha Louise Clark was born on August 15, 1948 in Pearson, Ga. to the proud parentage of the late John Henry Lane and Grace Amanda Core. She was the only child born to Mr. Lane, but she was the second of six born to Missy. Core in which two of her siblings preceded her in Death Bessie Mae Davis and Raymond U. Johnson.

Martha was very well educated she attended Miami Dade County Public School System where she graduated from North Dade Junior Senior High School Class of 1966.
A TIME TO MULTIPLY:
GENESIS 1:22 - AND GOD BLESSED THEM, SAYING, BE FRUITFUL AND MULTIPLY
Martha was blessed with four beautiful children: Angela, Gregory, Brenda, and Antrell. She loved her children so much she served on a special PTA committee for former Governor Lawton Chiles!! At that time, she had to fly to Tallahassee, FL, monthly to fight for more money for the students in low-income black areas of Miami Dade County Public School System.
A TIME TO WORK:
JOHN 9:4 I MUST WORK THE WORKS OF HIM THAT SENT ME, THE NIGHT IS COMING WHEN NO ONE CAN WORK.
Martha was always employed. She started her work career at Parkway Regional Medical Center as Housekeeper later at Montanari/Landmark School for disabled students for more than 20 years. She was also employed at South Florida Reception Center as a Food Service Supervisor for 10 years and later worked at MDCPS as a Cafeteria Manager then and finally at Target Retail Store #1038 North Miami Overnight Planogram Specialist before her health failed…
A TIME TO REVERENCE GOD:
ROMANS 10:9 - THAT IF THOU SHALT CONFESS WITH THY MOUTH THE LORD JESUS AND BELIEVE IN THINE HEART THAT HE HAS RAISED HIM FROM THE DEAD, THOU SHALT BE SAVED.
Martha Accepted the Lord as her Personal Savior in 1996 at First Missionary Baptist Church of Brownsville under the leadership of the late Rev. Dr. John A. Sales. She later joined in 2003 at Greater St. Adoker Missionary Baptist Church of Hollywood, Florida under the leadership of Rev. John Bell, where she attended until her health failed.
She always loved plants and gardening. Most of her time was spent in the yard or at Home Depot with her riding buddy Ms. Debra. They are known in every Home Depot Garden Center in the area.
A TIME TO DIE:
2 CORINTHIANS 2:1 FOR WE KNOW THAT IF OUR EARTHLY HOUSE OF THIS TABERNACLE WERE DISSOLVED, WE HAVE A BUILDING OF GOD, A HOUSE NOT MADE WITH HANDS, ETERNAL IN THE HEAVENS.
With patience and perseverance, she ran the race that was set before her. She fought a good fight and finished her course. On Friday afternoon at 3:30 PM July 14, 2023, she crossed the finish line; she joined that heavenly host the earthly book of life for Martha Louise Clark has end and her eternal life has begun.
A TIME TO WEEP, LAUGH, AND MOURN…. Mama Lou leaves to cherish her memories two loving daughters; Angela J. Huttoe (Darrell) and Brenda B. Roberts of Miami Gardens, FL, two loving sons; Gregory A. Huttoe of Arlington, TX and Antrell D. Lane of Miami, FL; one sister, Gloria Johnson of Miami Gardens, FL; two brothers, William R. Cole, of Tallahassee, FL, and Willie Roy Johnson (Gina) of Davie, FL; two step-brothers, Leroy Johnson of Warner Robins, GA and Frank Johnson of Tacoma, WA; one step-sister; Juanita Givens of West Palm Beach, FL; two aunts, Katie Mae Core of Pearson, GA and Ruthie Mae Brockington of Douglas, GA; one uncle; William "Nick" Core of Pearson, GA; seven grandsons: Robert Huttoe of Miami, FL; Leeardis Macklin, III of Enterprise, AL, Min. Sherrod Neloms-Huttoe (Michele), Anascio M. Roberts, Sr. (Deceased), Anton M. Roberts. Sr. (Jessica), Darrius L. Roach of Miami Gardens, FL and Gregory A. Huttoe, Jr. Arlington, TX; five granddaughters: Shekeria Wallace (Tariq) of Miami Gardens, FL, Shakia Huttoe of Houston, TX, Lachina Taylor, Shakira Benjamin, and Aniya Bruno all of Miami, FL, five great-grand kids: Anascio M. Roberts, Jr., Xavion Poindexter, Tariq Wallace, Jr., Teyonna Wallace, and Anton M. Roberts, Jr. all of Miami, FL; two God-children Trayvaugh Edwards and Latrice Blakely all of Miami, FL and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. ….
