Marcus Melverton Harriott was born September 22, 1991 and cared for by his mother Winsome Harriott until the day he passed on March 15, 2022 at the tender age of 30. Growing up he attended Bunch Park Elementary, Thomas Jefferson Middle, and North Miami High School. Marcus is survived by mother Winsome, sister Roxan, nephew Nathan, grandmother Girline, uncles, aunties, and cousins.
He was a beloved son, grandson, brother, and uncle. He was a very quiet man and mostly kept to himself. Marcus was not big on talking a lot, but when he spoke those around listened intensely. He was very close with this mother Winsome, his sister Roxan, and his late brother Horace. These 3 meant the world to him. He was also loved dearly by them as well.
Marcus loved playing his video games online with his friends in the virtual world. I believe this was an escape for him from his reality. He was born sick, but never let that stopped him nor define him as an individual. Marcus' life was cut short due to his illness, but he did not go without a fight.
Marcus will be fondly remembered for his intelligence, quiet nature, and love of building computers. Also, how he kept himself busy in his room despite his physical decline. He never once gave up….EVER!
