Marc Remy
Germain
Nov 1, 1939 — May 17, 2024
Atlanta
Miami Gardens, Florida
— It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Marc
Remy Germain, a remarkable man whose life was a beacon of hope and strength. Born on
November 1st, 1939, in Freres, Haiti, Marc embarked on a journey that would lead him to touch
countless lives with his wisdom, love, and generosity. He passed away peacefully on May 17th,
2024, in Miami Gardens, Florida.
Marc was a pillar of the community, known for his unwavering commitment to his family and
his deep faith. He was married for more than six decades to his beloved wife, Philomene Elizette
Germain, with whom he shared a love that was a source of inspiration to all who knew them.
A dedicated father, Marc was blessed with eight children. He faced the heartbreaking loss of his
daughter, Marjorie Germain, but continued to be a source of strength for his surviving children:
Miriane, Rolckner, Marietta, Jean Remy, Jean Rodnel, Kerline, and Mesmin. His legacy extends
to his countless nephews, cousins, nieces, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who will carry
forward the lessons of kindness and courage he instilled in them.
In 1980, Marc made the brave decision to leave Haiti and seek a better life for his family in
Miami. This bold move was a testament to his vision for a brighter future, a dream he turned into
a reality through hard work and perseverance.
Marc's life was one of triumph, love, and laughter. He will be remembered for his infectious
smile, his hearty laugh, and the way he could light up a room with his presence. His garden was a
place of peace, where he cultivated not just his favorite tropical fruits and plants, but also the
bonds of family and friendship.
We invite you to join us in celebrating Marc's life at a memorial service to be held on June 1st,
2024 at 10 AM at the St Bartholemew Catholic Church, 8003 Miramar Pkwy, Miramar, FL
33025.
Marc Remy Germain's story is one of triumph, love, and the enduring spirit of the human heart.
He will be deeply missed, but his legacy will live on forever in the hearts of those he touched.
