Lynett Amanda Peart was born on September 27, 1937 in the parish of Manchester Jamaica; she was the second of six children. Lynett's early years began with her attending Bethabara and Mandeville Elementary Schools and completed her formal education at Mt. Saint Joseph College, where she pursued a career in Secretarial Studies. Upon completion of her studies, she began working for the Public Works department of the National Works Agency (NWA), until securing a job opportunity with Alpart (Alumina Partners of Jamaica).

Lynett would eventually leave her island home, but before doing so she would meet the love of her life, Guy Peart. Lynett and Guy were married on July 4, 1959. Their union produced two sons, Rogeray and Steve.

The Family would soon journey to the United States and settle in Bronx, New York, missing the warm tropical climate of home. They would eventually settle in Miami Florida where they built a loving home and lasting legacy.

Faith was the cornerstone of Lynett's life. She and Guy were strong followers of the Lord Jesus Christ and were proud founding members of Open Bible Community Church, where they faithfully served and worshiped. Through their devotion, they touched countless lives and won many souls for the Kingdom of God.

Lynett will be remembered for her grace, warmth, and kindness. She was a devoted wife and mother, a loving grandmother, and a steadfast friend to many. Her generous spirit shone through her community service, where she dedicated time to helping the elderly and those in need. She also delighted in the beauty of nature, finding joy in plants and animals of all kinds.

She is preceded in death by her devoted husband, Guy. She leaves behind her cherished sons, Rogeray and Steve; Daughter-in-law, Diane; her adored granddaughters, Turquoise, Jasmin, and Jewel; one precious great-grandchild; and a host of loving relatives and friends who will carry her memory in their hearts forever.

Lynett's life was a testament of faith, love, and service. She will be deeply missed but forever celebrated by those who knew and loved her.
