Lascelles Adolphus Williams was born February 16, 1952, to June 18, 2022 to the late Dorris Williams and Adolphus Williams. He is the seventh out of 11 children.
Born and raised in Sheffield Westmoreland, Jamaica. Lascelles attended Sheffield All Age School. Continuing to further his education, he graduated from Montego Bay Technical School majoring in Mechanical Engineering.
His hobbies included raising rabbits, hunting birds, guinea pigs, goats, and Barble doves. He enjoyed fishing and catching crabs.
Happy with his new knowledge and skills he decided to move and live with his older sister, in Linstead St. Catherine, Jamaica. He landed his first job at Parish Council Waterworks.
Until he migrated from Jamaica to New York in 1981, he worked as a Jewelry Lab Technician until 2003. He migrated to Miami, Florida and started working as a mechanical engineer.
Lascelles Adolphus Williams is survived by his sisters: Hypha Williams, Tomazine Watson, Eudeen Williams, Pamela Forbes, Jean Williams, and Vilma Williams; brother: Vernon Williams; sons: Kirk Williams, Lascelles Williams Jr., Denton Williams, Lamart Williams, and Kamar Williams; daughters: Shenice Williams, Tashania Williams, Tamara Williams and Narsha Williams (deceased); grandchildren: 14; great-grandchildren: 1 and a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
