Kyra Roberta Carter, born to the parents of Yolanda Jackson Allen and Tommy Carter.

Kyra was raised in Miami, Florida, where she lived her entire life. Kyra attended Miami Gardens Elementary and graduated from Miami Carol City Senior High. Kyra furthered her education at Miami Dade Community College where she studied general education Classes.

Kyra accepted Christ at an early age. She joined Holy Temple Missionary Baptist Church in 2013, under the leadership of Pastor Joseph L. Kelley.

Kyra passionately cheered for Risco Park and enjoyed modern dance and even choreographed a dance performance.

Kyra was employed as a Sales Representative at Magic Price Clothing Boutique. She also was employed at the Veteran Association as a Call Center Representative. Kyra then worked at Empowered Youth as a Receptionist.

Kyra was a Sickle Cell warrior.

On March 3rd, 2022, Kyra transitioned to a peaceful paradise. She leaves to cherish her memories her mother, Yolanda Jackson Allen; father, Tommy Carter; brother, Kazon Allen; bonus father, Keven Allen; grandmother, Sarah Carter; uncles, Craig Jackson and Thomas Allen; aunts, Pharis Allen Adam and Janice Taylor; and a host of cousins, family, and friends

She was preceded in death by her grandmother Bettye Murrell and uncle Kevin Jackson.
