Kenneth Lindo was born in St. Eustatius to the proud parents of Queen Elizabeth Daniel and George Harris Lindo.

He was raised by his grandmother who taught him hard work, discipline, and respect.  Kenneth Lindo as some affectionally called him "Ken" attended St. Joseph Catholic High School in St. Eustatius, Netherlands Antilles and was very active in the catholic church.  He served as an altar boy for many years and was loved and cherished by the nuns of the church.  He was loved so much by the catholic church family that upon graduation from High school, the catholic church arranged for him to attend St. Joseph Technical College in Curacao in the Netherlands Antilles.  He completed his studies and graduated with a degree in Carpentry and Blueprint reading.  After graduation from college, he returned to St. Eustatius and secure a job with the Government of St. Eustatius as a Land Surveyor.   He held the position as a surveyor for a few years and along with a childhood friend they both migrated to St. Croix in U.S. Virgin Islands.  Together they lived and worked together as bothers. They both worked in the construction industry as they developed their craft and learned as much as they can in the construction field.

Going forward with an extensive amount of knowledge and all the skills he had developed Kenneth Lindo venture out into the construction field.

Construction was booming in St. Maarten, so he migrated to St. Maarten and open his own construction company. "Lindo Construction Corp." He constructed some of the largest buildings on the island such as department stores, telephone building contract to modernize the telephone system thru out the island. He constructed the largest government building on the island and upon completion of this project for the first time on the island, the building now housed all governmental offices in the same building.  He was very proud of these projects and accomplishment.

He later then migrated to Florida and married Lily Linda, his wife of 42 years. Kenneth took a break from construction for a more relax life, so he owned and operated a grocery store in North Miami. He hired anyone who needed a job, but after a few years he felt he was losing his construction craft, so he returned to construction. He attended Allstate Construction College where he earned his Florida construction license and then open his construction company "Morlin Professional Carpentry Incorporated". Under Morlin Professional Carpentry, he constructed and renovated single family homes, apartment buildings and undertake many governmental contracts to revitalize homes in over town Miami Florida.  He completed such projects as Arthur Mays Housing Project, Florida City Farmers Market, Pinecrest Villas in South Miami, Church of the Open Door, and Portofino Apartment Complex in Pembroke Pines.  He also worked on the renovation of the Holy family Episcopal Church.

Kenneth worked in the construction industry for over 45 years until he retired about 5 years ago.  He had not only successfully owned and operated his own construction/remodeling corporation, but he also successfully held the position as Superintendent of construction for several other Florida construction corporations such as DL Kirby Construction Incorporated, Stateline Construction Corporation, C2M Construction Incorporated, McBayne Construction Incorporated, and Miles Construction Incorporated. Kenneth Lindo was very proud of all the building/landmarks and his accomplishments that he had the opportunity to be a part of.

He loved his family, loved his church and was a devoted member of Holy Family Episcopal Church. He served faithfully as an Usher and was always willing to assist in the absent of an usher on any given Sunday.

Ken as he was affectionally known was always admired and known to be the joker of the group. Full of life and love for all.

Grandchildren: J'Mari Lindo, Brian Lindo Jr., Ashwin Lindo, and Brittney Lindo

Brothers: Rubert Lindo, Silvio Lindo, Victor Lindo, Melvin Lindo,

and several nieces/Nephews too numerous to mention.
