It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of our beloved Jada.

Jada Amoy Martin passed away on August 1, 2021, tragically by gunshot in her home.

Jada was born on September 15, 2010 to parents Karen and Jeffrey Martin in Miami, Florida.

She is survived by her parents, Karen and Jeffrey Martin, and two brothers, Jovanni and Mortin, aunts, uncles and a host of family and friends. She was a 4th grade student at Brentwood Elementary School in Miami Gardens, Florida.

Jada was intelligent, she enjoyed having good conversations with her family and liked to get her point of view heard. She displayed great skill in building and putting things together such as her bed a few days before her death. She was quite independent and completed tasks without asking for assistance. She was not a typical girly girl, she enjoyed cooking pancakes and eggs and experimented with making new dishes.

She enjoyed outdoor activities with her family and would get excited when there is a trip to the beach and the water park. She wished to travel the world, her favorite city is New York and her mother and she were making plans to visit this year. She loved animals, especially dogs and it was her dream to own a dog
