Hazel
Bembridge
Oct 27, 1949 — Aug 25, 2021
Miami
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the lord, he is my refuge and my fortress: my God in him will it trust. Psalm 91:1-2
Hazel Loretta Bembridge affectionately known to many as" Blossom or Sis Blossom" was born in the parish of Manchester on the beautiful island of Jamaica on October 27, 1949 to Muriel Mitchell and John Bembridge. In her early years she attended Hopeton All age School and Hopeton Seventh Day Adventist church. She then migrated to Mandeville with her mom and sister Doreen.
In 1979 she immigrated to Miami Florida where she worked as caregiver for 5 years while attending Miami Dade College to become a Pharmacy technician. After finish school she them moved to Chicago where she worked as a Pharmacy Technician for Eckerds drug store. After becoming ill, she then moved back to Florida to be close to her family.
Before Blossom became ill, she was a traveler, she loved traveling to different countries and learning the different ways people lived. she was kind, loving, and caring, but she was very private person. She was loved by many; she was funny and knew how to laugh and enjoy the moment. Aunty, with the gift of years comes the treasure of knowing that there are many who loved you dearly, the memories you made with us will last for forever. But the most powerful gift you could have ever given is the special part of you that now lives in us. Sadly, on August 25, 2021 you fell asleep in the arms of your loving Lord and Savior. you sadly left behind your sister Doreen, and brothers Ian, Michael, and Richard, many nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends. May on that bright and glorious morning when Blossom awakens from her sleep, she will meet her Savior King Jesus in the air.
May Her Soul Rest in Peace.
