Gladys was born to the late Wallace Anderson and Lonnie Lee Williams July 25, 1939 in Columbus, Georgia. There she attended the   local public schools.

She then met W.D Howard at the age of 15 and from there the two were inseparable. Years later they moved to Miami where she worked very hard to help provide for her family. She attended the Kingdom Hall and was baptized January 26, 1975 as a Jehovah's witness. Gladys loved music, sewing, flowers, birds,   variety of bright colors and hazelnut coffee. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grand-mother, great-grandmother and friend.

Gladys was preceded in death by her two brothers: her sons: Kimberly Howard and Tracy Howard as well as her husband and lifetime partner W.D Howard.

Gladys leaves to cherish her memory her three daughters: Kiesha Howard (Roshaun Oliver), Maralynn Thompson, and Crystal Howard; her two sons: Glen Howard and Devhron Howard; her nieces: Donna Anderson, Denethia Anderson Reese and nephew, Donald Anderson Jr.; 22 grandkids and 27 great-grands and host of other relatives and friends.
