Garrett Alonzo Williams II, son of the late Garrett Williams and Mavis Diane Williams was born July 15, 1983 in Miami, FL. During his early years as a child, he attended Nathan B. Young Elementary School. He went on to attend North Dade Middle School, and graduated high school at Hialeah Miami Lakes Senior High School. During his time in high school, Garrett was a member of the jazz band, where he played the trumpet.

Garrett's worked as a Longshoreman, and was a member of the International Longshoreman's Association since the age of 19. He loved his career and hoped to become a Header by the end of his career. Garrett enjoyed things such as listening to a variety of music, relaxing outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.

His wonderful life will forever be cherished in the lives of his son: Alonzo Williams. Three brothers, Chason Williams, Carlos Williams, and Christopher Parker, all of Miami, FL. An uncle of Miami, Benton Williams. Two aunts of Naples, FL, LaColia Layton and Carolyn Roberts. And a host of cousins and friends.
