Federina Thompson was born on November 5, 1926 to Robert Thompson and Verice Hall in St. Catherine, Jamaica. She grew up in Clarendon and attended Palmer Cross Primary School.

She met Errol Birch (deceased) and bore four kids: Lindy (deceased), Pauline (deceased), Elon, and  Teda.

She joined her sister in New York in 1988, then     relocated to Miami Gardens, Florida and became a member of Maranatha Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Federina, otherwise known as Ms T., was a calm loving and caring person always making people smile, even if they are low in spirits.

She is sadly missed by her children: Elon Birch and Ted Birch; g randchildren : Laurie, La Tracy, Lydia, Addie, and Laysha; great-grandchildren : Dr., and Tedon; nieces: Quince, Mamie, and Terrie; nephews : Trevor, Ronnie, and Humphrey: her cousin, Rufe whom she spent the last five years of her life with; her friends, cousins, and others.
