Wilfredo Mendoza lived a full and happy life. The perfectionist, the perfect gentleman whatever you ask of him he never said No, always the Jokester. He made jokes out of things others would have been wallowing in self-pity over. He was educated at Monseñor Lescano, Primero De Febrero in Nicaragua, and Miami Dade College. Wilfredo was born in Managua, Nicaragua. He was the oldest of 6 children, born to the late Mr. Francisco W. Mendoza, and the late Yolanda Borge. He met the love of his life Ethel Blow, and they were wedded on March 24, 2002, in Lake Tahoe, California.

Wilfredo leaves to mourn a loving wife, Ethel Mendoza, three Brothers & two Sisters, Carlos Mendoza (who preceded him in death), Estella Mendoza of Orlando, FL, Noel Mendoza (Claudia) of Nicaragua, Yolanda Lewin (Werner) of California, Jairo (Sylvia) of Lynn Haven FL, Javier (Norma), of Montana.

On Sunday, January 16, 2022, the Angel of God called Wilfredo home. Never again will he suffer or be in pain for he has gone home with the Lord. His death leaves a void in the lives of those who loved him.

He leaves to mourn his lovely wife Ethel Mendoza, four children: Will Mendoza (Jackie) of California, Claudia Romero (Rene) of California, Yolanda Quintero (Jamie) of Miami, Will Mendoza of Arizona, Stepdaughter Nesheda Thompson (Leroy) of Miami; thirteen­­­ grandchildren: Allison Mendoza, Angela Mendoza, Alonzo Mendoza, Jackie Quintero, Steven Quintero, Joshua Romero, Francisco Mendoza, Joaquin Mendoza, Jada Mendoza, Danilo Mendoza, ShaaKiera Thompson, Leroy Thompson, Quanisha Grimes; and nine great-grands: Gisselle Jimenez, Angel Jimenez, Gia Jimenez, Symarri Williams, Chloe Lablanc, Khanai Grimes, Khaleah Grimes, Londyn Thompson, Leroy Thompson (LJ); and
