A Time to be Born: Elizabeth Cummings was God's precious gift to the late Dan and Maggie Cummings. Her life began on July 14, 1935, in Minters, Alabama. She was the third child born to this union of four children.

A Time of Knowledge: She received her education in the public school system in Pensacola, Florida. She graduated from Booker T. Washington High School. She received her A.A. Degree from Miami Dade College and a Bachelor of Science Degree from Nova University.

A Time to Love: Elizabeth married her high school sweetheart, Richard Benjamin Wilson, Sr. To this union they had two beautiful children, Valerie and Richard B. Wilson, Jr. Thirty five years later, she met Willie Fred Moultry who would become the love of her life. They were married on July 22, 1995.

A Time to Reverence: Elizabeth was raised up in a Christian family. As a young child, she attended Campbell Chapel Church in Minters, Alabama. In 1945, she moved her membership to Saint John Devine Baptist Church in Pensacola, Florida. She was baptized in 1954, by Rev. E.B. Elleby. Later, she and her family relocated to Tampa, Florida. She joined New Hope Baptist Church, under the leadership of Rev. John Willis. In 1966, she and her two children moved to Miami, Florida. She joined First Baptist Church of Bunche Park under Rev. W.J. Macon's leadership. Later, in 1975, she became a Charter Member of New Way Fellowship Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Billy Baskin.

A Time to Work: Elizabeth was the first leader of Teens for Christ at New Way. She was committed to the Children's Church for twelve years and enjoyed every moment of it. She served in the Choir and was a Sunday School Teacher in the early years of the Church. She was a regular member of Retirees, Seniors and Friends. She was a faithful attendant at Morning Bible Study. Elizabeth supported many charities. Sister Moultry loved her church family. We will miss her warm radiant smile.

She worked at West View Elementary School, North County Elementary School and Bay Harbor Elementary School. She retired in 1998 with twenty-five years of outstanding service with Miami-Dade County Public School System. In 1981, she was Teacher of The Year for Bay Harbor Elementary School and in 1987-1988, The Peer Teacher of The Year Dade County Schools. She worked at Bay Harbor School for twenty years.

A Time to Remember: I remember what made me the strong independent woman that I became. The day I cried out to God with lifted hands to the sky. "Lord if I do my best, will you help me?" My family, I hope this will be your prayer today.

We have made many precious memories, enough to last a lifetime. "Only You" can reflect on them.

Remember: Don't ever underestimate your abilities

A Time to Die: God dispatched an Angel from Heaven and said, "Servant, your work on earth is completed. You have fought a good fight and you have kept the faith. Now there's a resting place prepared for you."

A Time to Mourn: The trumpet of the Lord sounded for Elizabeth on September 7, 2024. She leaves to cherish her memories a loving and devoted family: Husband, Willie Fred Moultry; Daughter, Valerie L. Battles (Oscar); Son, Richard B. Wilson Jr. (Edwina); Sisters: Katherine C. Pace (Alonzo) and Danella M. Collins; Granddaughters: Phallon L. Battles, Erica L. Johnson; two bonus granddaughters, Plashette Miller Kelly (James) and Shakedra Miller; two bonus grandsons; George Miller and Yago L. Battles; two nieces; two great nieces; five nephews; three great nephews; nine step grandchildren; twenty-four step great-grandchildren; four great, great grandsons; Best friend Betty Jean Smith; and a host of other relatives and friends.
