Dorothy was a caring, loving and strong woman.  She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother.  She was the best friend anyone could have.  She loved being with family and sharing in their accomplishments.

Dorothy migrated to Florida with her husband Lascelles    Francis in July 1979.  She worked as a home health aide for more than twenty years.  She worked with many families as a caregiver and was loved by all her clients.  She found great joy in caring for others.  She took great pride and joy in caring for her family and anyone she felt needed her.  She loved   gardening, reading, home decorating and cooking.

Dorothy was peacefully and gently called home on Monday, March 14 ^th , 2022, at her home surrounded by the love of her family.  She is survived by her two children Jacqueline and Lascelles Jr.; daughter-in-law Kimberly Francis; five grand-children: Jason, Kiara, Brittany, Lascelles III and Lascelles IV; nine great-grandchildren; Jason Jr., Raylen, Janiyah, Jaiden, Morgan, Kanylah, Amina, Milani, and Fletcher; one sister,   Elsa Gordon; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
