Dondi Brown, was born on March 15, 1960, to the late great Carolyn Louis Brown in Miami, Florida. Don passed away on February 27, 2022, at the age of 62, in his hometown of Miami, Florida. His battle with serious medical issues in recent years showed his courage in facing life challenges with a smile. Despite the pain, Don came out a hero and stayed strong until the end. Dondi was the oldest of 7 children.

At an early age Dondi attend Charles Drew Elementary and North Dade Middle schools. After attending Hialeah Miami Lakes High and graduating from Miami Carol City High School, Dondi chased his dream of becoming a truck driver. Dondi was one of the best tractor trailer drivers for many years. He became a Jack of all Trades with his day-to-day careers.

Don met Mary Buchanan, which their union welcome his First and only child Laura "Dontavia" Tyson.

Don loved spending time with family and friends, dancing and listening to music. Don was the comedian of the Brown's family. Dondi had a passion for good food and laughter.

Dondi is survived by his daughter Laura " Dontavia" Tyson; five grandchildren: Skyeler Alton (20), Knikos Halen, (18), Asa Omari (13), Tyson Chase (8) and only granddaughter Brooklyn Kennedii (4). Loving sisters, Donna Brown, and Shellena Brown and the late Diona Mungai and Monica Brown. Loving brothers, Sheldon Brown, and the late Sabin Brown and a very special nephew Charles Redley the Tyson and Buchanan Family all of Miami, Florida.
