A LEADER WAS BORN

Paul Lawrence Bannerman Jr. was a son, brother, friend, husband, father, grandfather, and businessman.

Paul began his journey in this thing called life on November 24, 1953. He was the eldest of 4 children born to the late Paul Lawrence Bannerman Sr. and Maggie Mae Bannerman. His parents followed by his younger brothers Melvin (Rickey) Bannerman and Ronald (Ronnie) Bannerman preceded him in death.

A TIME OF GROWTH

Paul received a formal education within the Miami-Dade County Public School System. He attended R.R. Moton Elementary School, Cutler Ridge Jr. High and Miami Palmetto Senior High School where he was not only a star athlete but a stellar student, Class of 1971.

Paul furthered his education in Atlanta, GA. where he received his flight wings in 1971

June 10, 1972 Paul wed Dianne Shaw of Carol City, Florida. To this union 5 beautiful children were born.

A ROSE MEANT TO BLOOM

Having the faith of God instilled in Paul at a young age, Paul followed the legacy of faith and accepted the Lord as his personal savior. Paul was led by the late Rev. W.C. Edgar at Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church. Continuing his journey of faith led Paul to accept the calling of becoming an ordained Deacon.

On the passing of his father, Paul Sr. the family business was left to his sons. Paul being the leader that he was, he evolved Bannerman and Sons into Bannerman Landscaping, Inc. on January 8, 1979. Paul has been the founder, owner and driving force of Bannerman Landscaping, Inc. for over 50 years. Having determination and professionalism, Paul took Bannerman Landscaping to heights that his father and great, grandfathers would have never imagined.
