Charles Barnett was born on May 24, 1939, in the city of New York, to Ruth and Irving Barnett.

He graduated from NYC High School and enlisted in the U.S. Army. He served as MP in World War II. Charles was honorably discharged and went on to college in New York and earned an Associate Degree in Business.

The family moved to Florida and Charles worked for the retail industry for a number of years until he retired. He lived in an Assisted Living facility until his passing on August 7th at the V.A. Hospital.

The staff, residents and friends of Mr. Barnett will miss him greatly. Rest in Peace Charlie.
