Catherine Norma Hosford was born in Grenada WI to Urania Agatha Wilson and Joseph B. Wilson on December 27th 1935. She spent her early years in La Borie Rd., Saint Pauls, Saint Georges. She attended Saint Joseph's convent and then worked at Huggins Department Store. During this time period she married Rufin A. Hosford and had 3 children. In 1981 she immigrated to the United States and worked at Alexander's Department Store in New York City. Later she moved to Miami and worked at Miami Jewish Home and Hospital from May 6th 1983 to February 1st 2002, then she retired.

She was preceded in death by the love of her life Rufin A. Hosford. Left to mourn are her three children: Hazel Hosford, Hayden Hosford (Katina), and Hilary Hosford-York (Gregory). Her grandchildren: Ivona Hosford, Byron Dawson, Ian Hosford, Tylor Dawson, Hailey York, and Gregory York. Her siblings: Joseph Wilson aka Sonny, Anne Wilson, George Wilson and Christine La Grenade. Also left are nieces and nephews in Grenada and the USA as well as her friends.

She was a faithful member of the Catholic Church. She passed away peacefully at home on Sunday October 17th 2021 at 07:29 AM.
