On August 16, 1933, Rev. Dr. Carroll Jeremiah Storr was born in Nassau, Bahamas to the late Jeremiah Alexander Storr (Sergeant Royal Bahamas Police Force) and the late Doris Evelyn Cumberbatch-Storr. Rev. Storr grew up and served faithfully at St. Paul Baptist Church, Bias Street. It was there at St. Paul Rev. Storr accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior, acknowledged the call of God into ministry, and was ordained.
Rev. Storr received his early education at Western Senior High School and Nassau Technical Institute in the Bahamas. He also received his training from the British Government Overseas Development Training Center, London, England. He received his initial religious education for ministry from the Bahamas Southern Baptist Institute. While in the Bahamas, Rev. Storr worked at the British Overseas Airways Corporation, Bahamas Government; Telecommunications, Accountant, Royal Bahamas Police Force (No. 149), Chief Administrator – family islands Commissioner, and Local Government Department.
In 1977, Rev. Storr migrated to the United States to further his education at Florida Bible College and International Seminary. He was awarded his Bachelor of Arts, Master of Theology, and Doctor of Letters Diplomas. Rev. Storr served in ministry as Assistant Pastor & Minister of Education at First Baptist Church and Assistant Pastor, Director of Education & Counseling at New Way Fellowship. He was also Pastor at Metropolitan Baptist Church and Faith Community Bible Church.
