Carolyn E. Lightsey Shaw Greene was born 5.30.48 in  Miami, FL to the late Purvis G. Lightsey and Willie Mae Lightsey. She was the oldest of five children: Joyce, Willie, Linda, Richard, Ardella. During, her formative years she attended schools in the Miami Dade Public School System, and later graduated from North Dade High School now known as North Dade Middle School in   Miami Dade County. After graduation, she attended Miami-Dade College receiving a degree in management. Over that period of her life, she met Ernest Shaw and   later married, and from that union, a son was born.

Ms. Lightsey Shaw Greene pursued her passion in the business infrastructure industry holding position that requires professionalism, knowledge, expertise, in business acumen to succeed in a male dominant industry. Later, through her journey in 1988, she met Mr. Jackie Greene, and the two married after a lengthy courtship. Ms. Lightsey Shaw Greene was always a God-fearing   woman who prided herself on acknowledging the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. Through that relationship, the Father called her to minister the word. She received her Certificate of Licensure in the Gospel of Ministry 12.6.97. Ms. Lightsey Shaw Greene was a dedicated servant of the Lord Jesus Christ her entire life.

Ms. Lightsey Shaw Greene leaves behind her supportive son, Vincent who was her pillar of strength throughout her life. A total of 3 sisters and 2 brothers, nieces and nephews: Adriane, Willie Jr., Damian, Chris, Dorian, Ashley, Amber, Ariel, Darryl
