We are here to celebrate the life of our beloved Queen Betty Ann (Milligan) Davis affectionately known as "Joyce". She was a loving Sister, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Aunt, Cousin & friend. On September 22nd, 1946, Betty Ann Milligan was born in Charleston, South Carolina, where she was the eldest of seven children to Carrie Lee Davis-Milligan & Ben J. Milligan.

In 1955 the Milligan family moved to Miami, FL (on 10th street) in the Overtown area where they all attended school. Betty was a proud graduate of Booker T. Washington High School (class of 1966) and a college graduate.

She worked most of her adult life in the medical field, holding various positions, with her proudest position that she held was being a nurse. In 2004 Betty finally retired from the workforce.

Betty was a proud mother of 4 children (3 living, 1 she now sees in heaven). Betty loved & adored her family and was always there to lend a helping hand, a shoulder for support, words of wisdom, and would even share her food to make sure her grandson or great-grandson would eat (even if they didn't want it). Her loving spirit could light up a room even if it was dark. She loved to put a smile on everyone's face and just spread the love she had in her heart to the people she knew as well as complete strangers. Betty was a generous, selfless, modest, motivating and a supportive Christian woman inside and out. Betty did her best to ensure her family, friends, strangers, and most of all her children had the tools needed to succeed in life. She loved & adored her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and family.

At an early age Betty accepted Christ as her "Lord and Savior" into her life and her life's mission was to bring others to Christ by demonstrating the love of Jesus in her daily walk. Betty became a member of Cornerstone Christian Center on September 6th, 2009. She was a woman devoted to God and her soap operas. She loved the Lord with all her heart & her faith was very strong.

Betty passed away on October 29th, 2021, at the ripe age of 75 years young after a courageous battle with cancer. Even though the cancer ultimately took her home, her loving heart will always remain in ours.

She was our rock and peace maker. She will be extremely missed by her family and those whom she has touched throughout her 75 years on this Earth.

Long live our Angelic Queen, forever in our hearts!

She is proceeded in death by her father, Ben Milligan; mother, Carrie Lee Davis Milligan; and sisters, Florence Milligan, Marjorie Milligan, and Marionette Milligan; and her son, Robert.

Betty Ann (Milligan) Davis was tremendously dedicated to her family. She is survived by: 3 surviving children: Tonya Davis, Nigel Davis & Charmaine Davis; Brothers: Ben Milligan Jr. (Randy), George Wayne Milligan (Jerome) & Jeremiah Milligan (Jerry or Jell); Nieces (Tonda Scott, O'Damia Miller, Shawndria Milligan, Gloria Davis, Sharrie Dean Collins, Jackie Dean, Janeene Hills, Janelle Hills, Michelle Wallace, Daneesha Davis, Danielle Kim); Nephews (Brian Milligan, Jermaine Milligan, Jamal Milligan, Byron Hill, Devon Davis, Vincent Davis, Daren Davis, Derric Davis); Daughter-in-law (Karla Davis); Grandchildren (Terrell Davis, MaShawndra Davis, Dominic Gonzalez, DeAndre, Toriano Davis, Jalon Davis, Nya Davis, Nevaeh Davis, Naya Riviera, Ilana Riviera & Mathais Riviera; Great-Grandchildren Samuel Valdes, Nevaeh Davis, Chantell Davis, Mykah Nickerson, Knoah Nickerson, Jonah Nickerson, Messiah Nickerson, Amaria Davis, Aylah Nickerson, A'Nyla Davis, Vega Nickerson, Aviaunna Davis, Zyonnus Davis), cousins and a host of family & friends.
