Barbara Rowena Pinto entered the world on January 5, 1953, in the Parish of Portland, Jamaica. Barbara later moved to Kingston to work and migrated to the United States in 2006. One of her most significant accomplishments was the day she accepted her Water Baptism and    received her Kingdom citizenship. Barbara spent her life caring for her siblings, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and would not miss an opportunity to counsel, nurture, or even chastise. Barbara enjoyed cooking and gardening; she often got compliments on her creativity and her "Green Thumb ." Whatever Barbara planted, grew, blossom and bear. Barbara often said, "I wish I had someone to take me places when the truth is she was a homebody. She loved the Lord and the people of God. Barbara Loved the word and would often follow the preachers on Facebook under the alias Maria Pinto. Barbara came, she saw, and she conquered even death. Barbara made her transition on July 19, 2022, at the age of 69 years old. She devoted her life to her family and friends, who were all surprised to hear of her transition.

Barbara is survived by six of her seven children Ann Marie Henderson-Pitt, Sherine Richards-Brown, Sadiene Richards-Ray, Tanisha Richards, Roger Thompson, and Andre Thompson. Her eldest son Robert Henry, her father Michael Pinto, mother Adassa Taylor, brother Steven Pinto and sister Beverly Lowe preceded her in death. Barbara leaves behind four brothers, Peter, Andrew, Ferdinand, and Philip Pinto, and five sisters, Marcia, Rowena, Dorothy, Angela, Joann, and Jasmine, to carry on the mantle. Barbara was loyal to her family and never missed a moment to show her grandchildren Teasha, Sean, Kimmoney, Jerrodo, Kimmon, Sabrina, Tianna, Asia, Kimyia, Jordyn, Joshua, Kimarley, and Josiah how much she loved them. Later, Barbara shared her affection with her great-grandchildren Nicolando , Arianne, Jadah-Kay, Zoey-Savannah, Nia-Krisan , Amir, Azaiah, Azir, Jaylen, Jianna, and Zayne. So many loved her, including a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a few good friends. She kept her circle of friends small. Barbara's favorite words were, "I'm still here," and though she is not here physically, she will always remain "HERE" in our hearts.
