Ambrozeta Blair was born to Gladys Morgan and Vincent Blair on July 10, 1937 in the Malvern District, St. Elizabeth, Jamaica. Ambrozeta attended Malvern All Age school in St Elizabeth, Jamaica. In 1961, Ambrozeta Blair and Vernon Whitter were blessed with their only child, Jennifer.

Ambrozeta enjoyed caring for others which led to her working as an nanny. Years later Ambrozeta migrated to the United States in 1986 where she continued to work as a nanny until 1993. Afterwards she became a CNA and cared for the elderly. Affectionately called "Mama", Ambrozeta was known for her kindness and generosity as she provided food and shelter to anyone in need, becoming an adopted grandmother for all who knew her. In her spare time Mama enjoyed listening to music, dancing, cooking, crocheting, and watching her favorite tv show "Walker Texas Ranger".

God called Ambrozeta home on August 21, 2021. Her beautiful life will always be cherished in the lives of her daughter Jennifer Richards, Grandchildren Paula Thomas, Andrew Thomas, Tamika Thomas, Rodney Brown, Nicola Brown, Issachar Richards, Kevin Richards, Marvin Richards, Dwayne Richards, 22 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter, cousins and friends.
